Ministries

We welcome you and your family to participate in the ministries listed below.

The ministries of the church connect us to one anther, but more importantly they challenge us to experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit who shapes us to be more like Jesus.

Ministries for Young People & Adults

Youth Group

Youth Meeting: A Place for Fun, Faith, and Fellowship . Our youth meetings are designed specifically for 6th to 12th graders, offering a fun and engaging space to grow in faith and build lasting friendships. Each gathering is packed with exciting activities, including games, music, and a time for worship. We believe in creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere where young people can connect, learn, and explore their faith.

The heart of our meetings is rooted in the Word of God. We share inspiring messages that challenge and encourage students to grow spiritually, while also giving them the tools to navigate the challenges they face in their everyday lives. Prayer is an integral part of each session, giving students the opportunity to deepen their relationship with God.

Quest

Quest is a community for young adults (18-30). We provide a safe, open, and honest space to explore big questions about faith, life, and purpose and whatever each person has on their hearts. Through thoughtful discussions, group activities, and ample opportunities for spiritual development and growth, Quest empowers young adults to journey together with others to grow in their faith and discover their unique place in the world.

What you will find at Quest:
  • Safe Space: An environment free from judgment where honest questions and doubts are welcomed.
  • Meaningful Discussions: Engaging conversations that delve into faith, life's purpose, and ethical dilemmas.
  • Spiritual Growth: Opportunities for prayer, reflection, and personal growth.
  • Community Building: Fostering friendships and connections with other young adults on a similar journey.

Quest: Where faith meets life, and questions find answers (not completely sold on the tagline)
Date/Time/Location: We meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month at the church house across the parking lot from LWC at 7pm.

GEMS

GEMS girls club is an awesome place to be for girls 1st - 8th grade.  Every Wednesday night (except the last Wednesday of the month) from 7pm until 8:30pm, we join together for an incredible time of worship, teaching, games, crafts and fun all with the purpose of having a closer personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ along with lots of building each other up.

In addition to our Wednesday night meetings we also plan many special events throughout the year.  Past events have included Roller Skating, Bonfires, Mother/Daughter events (Luau, Tea, shopping), Father/ Daughter events (Bowling, Country-Western night) and our Grand Finale Sleepover at the church.

The Living Word Church GEMS club is run by Tiffany Wells and Sara Thompson.

Royal Rangers

The Royal Rangers program is an activity-based, small group church ministry for boys and young men in grades K-12. Rangers meets on Wednesday from 7pm until 8:30pm.  Our mission is to evangelize, equip and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders. We provide Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment.

The Royal Rangers program is a cross-generational ministry that interconnects well with children, youth and adult ministries and fits easily into the fabric of pastoral vision and into the flow of church ministries.  We affirm the male hands-on, interactive learning style by featuring an intentional discipleship journey for boys and young men based on their unique design, needs and interests. Every meeting, outing or service activity is designed to encourage boys and young men in their walk with God.

We provide men with the tools to model Christlike manhood as they mentor boys on a Bible-based, Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered journey to maturity in the faith. Boys learn to study and apply what the Bible says about integrity, doctrine, biblical worldview, cultural issues and manhood. In addition, the Royal Rangers ministry molds boys into servant leaders, teaching them vital social, equipping, attitude, leadership and service skills.

Royal Rangers is led by Senior Commander Dave Blaski and Commander Dean Matykiewicz.
